Welcome to Fourth Grade!
This is my twentieth year of teaching at Lake in the Hills Elementary. Some of you know I was a Kindergarten teacher, in fact, some of your brothers and sisters were my students! I taught Kindergarten for five years. I then moved up to teach fourth grade for seven years where I was able to teach my old Kindergarteners again. The next two years, I taught fifth grade where I was able to work with some of my students once again. I have had an enjoyable time teaching all three of these grade levels because it gave me an opportunity to see how children throughout their elementary school years. Once again, six years in a row, I am teaching fourth grade and looking forward to meeting my new students!
As for my education, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Elmhurst College and my Master of Education from Olivet Nazarene University. I am continuously taking courses to find everything and anything on how to help children learn. I value the importance of education and what it can do for you. I hope that you, too will value your education.
